How's This Look?
for my first mod, a tint and black out my rims and get rid of the two tone and go all black...how much do you think this would be rough estimate????
Before Photoshop: http://img237.imageshack.us/img237/3...shed007jr9.jpg After: http://img186.imageshack.us/img186/3070/blackouthq8.jpg |
i like the black wheels, but needs bigger tires if you lift it.
|
i think that would look sweet. call up a powdercoater and see how much they would want because it would look awesome
|
i think you should leave the fender flares the color they are and it would be perfect. or spray them with with a clear coat. imo i dont like the flat black. and did you photoshop this yourself?
|
no my friend did it for me, i just said give it a tint and black rims, he did the other part....im not going to be lifting it for awhile, prob when i wear out my stock tires.

You forgot the visor tint and the front bumper! Here ya go man. I spend way to much time in PhotoShop. Fixed the flares and paint and tint.

ha! thanks man, i think here in cali it might be illegal to tint any part of the windsheild though
|
lose the step bars.
|
Oh, didn't know that. There's people around here running with their full windshield tinted at 25% (Not legal, but Florida is lax on a lot of "modifications" done to cars).
EDIT: took the visor off ^^^ |
haha, yea my friend who originally photo shop'd this for me hated the step bars right from the start. oh well, we'll see about those.
oh5edge! you have inspired me to download photo shop and mess around with it... ive got nothing else to do for about an hour! |
Photoshop is a great program, Oh5Edge is really good with it. You should tint the front windows the same as the back, you'd have to find a way around inspections though.

Yeah, it's a good way to kill time. I'm photoshopping while I'm taking a driving class online for my ticket I just got in my "speed racer" of a monster-mini truck. Man I hate how these things are timed (I KNOW MY LAWS!!! ha ha). Here's with no steps.

Keith. Think you better check. A 4" strip at the top of the windshield is OK I think. But I'm sure you ARE NOT allowed to tint the front door windows of any vehicle in Calif. I know lots of guys do it. But I'm sure it's against the law and if you get cited for it the judge can order you to take it off.
|
Looks good there Keith, feel free to give credit where credit is due ;)

California Tint Law Enacted: 1999 HOW DARK CAN WINDOW TINT BE IN CALIFORNIA? Darkness of tint is measured by Visible Light Transmission percentage (VLT%). In California, this percentage refers to percentage of visible light allowed in through the combination of film and the window. Windshield Non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 4 inches of the windshield. Front Side Windows Must allow more than 70% of light in. Back Side Windows Any darkness can be used. Rear Window Any darkness can be used. HOW REFLECTIVE CAN THE TINT BE IN CALIFORNIA? Similar to sunglass lenses, some tinting film contain metallic elements that help in reflecting incoming light and reducing the glare and heat generated by visible light. Front Side Windows Must not be more reflective than a standard window. Back Side Windows Must not be more reflective than a standard window. OTHER CALIFORNIA RULES AND REGULATIONS Restricted Colors The tint color(s) of RED AMBER BLUE are not legal by state law. Side Mirrors Dual side mirrors are required if back window is tinted. Certificate Requirements Manufacturers of film do NOT need to certify the film they sell in the state. Sticker Requirements No sticker to identify legal tinting is required. Medical Exemption State law does NOT allow medical exemptions that would allow you use special tint. |
