Icon10 I spent a lot of $$$ today - New Toys

Well today I spent quite a bit of money. I bought my first motorcycle, a helmet and my first new gun.

The Motorcycle: 2005 Honda Rebel 250. Has 311 miles on it, basically brand new!
This will be my daily driver here shortly(73mpg).

The Gun: Taurus .38 Special, this is the one I will carry.

good choice on the Rebel, my dad used to have one. he got rear ended by a Toyota Carolla a few weeks back which totaled the bike, but my dad got away with out a scratch. the bike took all the hit. the Carolla on the other hand had $4000 in damage. its a great bike and its very easy to work on.

Nice bike!!

Nice revolver the only other revolver I would buy than a smith and wesson would be a taurus.

How much did you pay for that?

Nice clean bike! So you're going to use that .38Special for CCW, cool stuff man. I've been looking at the Springfield XD series for my CCW. I already have a revolver in .357 but with a 6" barrel it's too bulky to conceal.

A .357 would be a lot of fun to shoot, but a little hard to carry in the pants.

I would rather have had a Smith, but it was over a hundred more for the same thing, so I opted for the Taurus

Hopefully I won't buy anything else this week, I think that is enough.
