installed my new cb.

as the title says, i installed my cb.

i got the cb and antenna for $23 shipped.

as soon as i hooked it up i figured i would test it.
i came across some gay guy asking me weird questions so i turned it off.

sorry for the crappy pictures, my camera is messed up so i used my phone.

i plan to get a 5ft firestick, so the magnet mount is only temp.

and yes, i can still use the ashtray, the cb is mounted to the bottom of the dash with some self tapping screws.

i also had to get a 90 for the antenna wire so i could put it there.

Yeah you do need to paint that thing... even just a rattle can satin black paint job would look good. a buddy did that to his vehicle, said the trick was to paint in vertical lines, up and down, and tape everything off. Cost him $30 the satin black looks about 1000 times better than flat black too.

Looks good to me. I wondered if it would hit while in gear, but I see you've got that covered.

my truck is satin black, the road salt killed it, the paint looked good for the first summer, spring came around and it was ****ed.

i plan to paint it soon, as of right now its mud brown with chunks.

Thought I would bump this.

I got a few more "items" for my CB, I was talking to a guy in Oklahoma from my truck.

I still need to get a better antenna, i have a Wilson 1000 in the mail.
