Installed a Set of FireStone Ride-Rites on the F150
So tonight I got my Firestone Ride-Rite air bag system from Summit Racing.
These are supposed to add an additional 5000lbs of total weight(that is what the bags are rated for)
I wanted them to remove the sag in the truck when my ranger is loaded. My trailer is tongue heavy and this was cheaper than getting a new trailer. LOL
I found another reason why I hate winter too, all the slush snow salt water that comes off the truck when its in a warmer garage. It sucked.
First pic
This is where the shrader valve comes out to fill the bags, any where from 5-100 psi
and the nasty mess I had to work in. The truck is so dirty I didnt take pics of it. LOL
I might install the front leveling kit now, but idk.

I am going to test load it this weekend I think. I should get my front driveshaft back then too.
I will put the leveling kit on or atleast try it when i try towing like this first.

Looks good Zach!! But that salt is nasty, glad they dont use much here.
Alls i can say is get those brakes hooked up and make sure you use breakaway kit. It saved my *** the other day. I was pulling the bobcat through town and well my receiver broke off right below the weld, and it snapped both safety chains. Luckily I had the breakaway hooked up and the trailer brakes just locked up and came to a stop.

Yeah its an optional thing you can buy, I choose not to because I am cheap. LOL

Looks good! I almost bought a barely used set of ride-rite F150 bags for 100 but I figured I don't really need them right now, and they looked like they would kill the suspension travel. They should work awsome for towing the blue beast though...
I think you should level it with 285's or 305's.
Hopefully you're getting a prodigy controller too.
