When I had mine done they said after 24 hours I'd be fine.

 

In MA they are pulling people over for windows that are too dark and if there is something on the rear window.
Dark is nice and your truck looks good but I hope you don’t have the problems like MA.

 

Yea I just got anxious and put the windows down anyways. No troubles. But I do keep going around all the edges with the little scraper they left in my truck just to make sure everything is ok.

i never got pulled over for mine but yours is darker lol. mines still illegal

 

Around here they pull people over but alot of people i know go to their eye doctor,tell him the sun hurts their eyes and he gives them tint exenpt stickers. They tint their windows as dark as they want put the sticker on the front window and its legal

 

depends on where you live if you get hassled or not.

I ran around for 3 years in my old ranger and never got stopped.. I had 5% too... but i had DWB so it wasnt a whole lot of contrast. lol.

as soon as i bought my current ranger (about a year ago now) I put 5% on it as well, but being silver, its easy to spot the dark tint. I got stopped once in fairfax and was metered at 3% but im going to wait to see if I get pulled again before i remove it.

 

Tint looks good! I love having 5% tint cuz you can look at ppl while driving and they have no idea lol....

Cops around me dont really both me for the tint, but I have got 2 tint tickets from a small town by where I live.


I waited a week to roll mine down on both trucks just to be extra safe!
