just a teaser for now..
**** still aint done. I need to go to my uncles and finish welding it with his mig.
in the pic it is just sitting there sorta nothing done. I have a mount now tacked in place. I need to recess it more but that will come late i just need to get it on for now. o and get a couple braces for the stinger
BTW.. this is the bumper that used to be on Kevin's (2002fx4) ranger.

Damn Donny, its about time you got a pic of it on your truck like that! I only now notice just how much taller that stinger is than the one I have. Now - git 'r done and mounted. Lets see some nice welds since you'll be using a MIG.
I've heard a few reasons to the purpose behind a stinger. A few would involve a front-end roll-over. If this should happen, the stinger (should) not only keep you from rolling end over end directly onto you're roof, but rather divert the vehicle to one of its sides. The other would be to keep the front of the vehicle, where the radiator and such is, from being crushed.

Isn't that what a normal bumper does, far better then any of these stinger styles? Can't replace some good cold bar's with a couple tubes
