Kinda sucks when you do a ton of work then, once you've reached the top (well..minus a SAS) you lose some interest.
Also, I wanted strongly to do the roof rack mod on my truck but being double lifted I believe I wouldn't be able to enter some parking garages. Sometimes I'm within 3 inches of hitting the beams in garages. |

Yeah it sucks. I've lost all interest. Short of a suspension lift or SAS, which there's no point in me doing either one, I have nothing left to do. I drive it once every couple weeks. Usually have to jumpstart it. I drive my work truck everywhere else. Kinda sucks but I need a new project. THEN that puts me on the subject of whether it's worth buying a new truck and having a payment for something I could drive every weekend if I really wanted haha.

Do your tires have low tread or something? The two other trucks slowly went up a hill that your yota had a bitch of a time on. Even when you got a running start you were spinning like none other!
I hadent aired down at all. after i did i was fine. Plus they have dura tracs and more weight Also that video was suprisingly smooth. Is that a "powerline trail/road" that you guys were on?

is that camera mounted to the roof or a roofrack or something? that was pretty cool how well it shot that video!

I bet he's got a gopro and then maybe a suction cup mount to windshield or he attached a mount to the "air vents" part. Video quality was sweet

If it's paid off keep it as your wheeler. Find you something cheap and sporty to give you a second hobby that wont cost an arm and a leg.

I don't need a wheeler haha. All I need is 4wd to get my to my shooting spot in the desert once or twice a month lol. And I need 4 doors because in the next few years we'll have a little monster on the way most likely.

Or you can get a nicer fullsize for the same price or cheaper...bigger, more power, V8, exc.
Build potential of a Tacoma and all the aftermarket support is UNREAL Rangers dont have as much support, they are more of a work truck, the Tacoma is unreal off road, followed by Toyota's reliability. |

Ranger's are great trucks mine was just not a good one. But many of the guys over on TTORA (taco forum) have had Rangers. Now this is my opinion only and ill contradict myself a little bit here. Once you drive a Tacoma you'll really realize how shitty a ranger actually is. Not that they are piles of shit you'll just notice how much better of a truck they are.

But, thats not the point of this thread. Everyone's heard this debate before anyway. Just personal preference. |
