Tires on my XLT
1 Attachment(s)
I acquired some 285/75 R16's for my Ranger! Had to modify the wheel well a bit.

Great tires. Is the speedo still correct? Or did you need to adjust for that? They are big. So the only thing you needed to do was MOD the wheel wells. That is inspiring. Jim |

Your welcome.
I don't see that color on trucks and cars much. You might have a rare Ranger. Loving it. Jim |

If I ever engine swap, it'll be the SOHC. The V8 is awesome and I'd love to have one, but too many downsides for me to justify actually going through the work to do it.

There must be programing issues and such. But that kind of stuff is out of my ability.
Jim TheArticWolf1911> Not sure what downsides you are referring to? The 95 Expo AWD is a DIRECT bolt-in swap into a 98up 4x4 or Edge chassis (Torque Arm Suspension). New2Ford> No programming issues, you just use the Expo PCM & PATS module. The truck is my DD and my MPG/MPT aren't any different than the lame 3.0L, and I DON"T LACK FOR POWER!:biglaugh::biglaugh: |
The wiring is the downfall. The other downfall is that the Expo PCM isn't programmed to work with a manual transmission. So if one wanted to run a manual transmission, that person would need a custom tune to "delete" the automatic inputs from the PCM.

Ohhhh............

You can get a performance tuning shop to correct that. Or you can buy the flashpaq and do it yourself.
I can't decide if I want a 2 inch lift or big tires. I know I want more height. |

The last thing I did was the LED conversion, I've got some (hopefully) brighter LEDs on the way for the cluster courtesy of Buggman, and I'm looking for some needles off an 01 to 03. Then it's on to exterior for a while...
|
That radio is cool. But holy bright.
Great job on the dash. |
Haha! Thanks! that's what I said! Believe it or not, that is after putting black sharpie over the LEDs. I'm gonna have to spray it with lens smoke I think...
|
I can easily see that lighting up the entire cab.

That is a fabulous picture!! I'm not clear as to "The new project". Your Ranger looks so big from a distance. Love it!
Jim |
Yeah, I'm not getting it either. Care to elaborate, Jacob?
|
Deway do you mean lawn cutting? Got me confused.
|
I mean that my wife and I just moved in to our new house.
|
Ah, okay. Since I didn't know what your first house looked like, I didn't have a clue. Congratulations on the new diggs! :)
|
Very cool. Congratulations. Hope you make nice memories and great new traditions there. Happy house warming.

Just purchased my ranger 2 weeks ago. Installed some offroad led lights behind the grill and led fog lights.
|
I like those behind the grille! Nice!
|
@nspratt: That is really slick! Congrats on finding such a super nice truck!
