Extra reverse lights are fanflippintastic for when your up on a mountain road at night, happen to hit a spot you have to turn around - but therestoo much brush and cliff edge to pull a 180 - so you have to back yourself up a good quarter mile.. ANY light at that point is good light, in situations like that I even have 2 12v auxiliary magnetic industrial lights I stick on to my toolbox or bumper to give enough light that i can just pop in reverse, peer out my mirrors - and comfortably scoot along at 15 mph till I can turn back.

That's the best pic I have of mine. I loved them. They were great for telling tailgaters to back off at night too

I don't have any pictures of the install, but I think I have some that kinda show them.

If you want, I'll dig out the camera and take some pics tonight after work and toss them up here. Ain't much to it really.

i did mine the exact same way...

for the longest time i thought about cutting holes in my bumper and mounting kc backup lights behind it so they were up high out of harms way, but i didn't have the guts to do it and i didn't think i could fit them without modifying the support brackets behind the bumper, saw these mounted between the tailgate and the bumper on a superduty and decided to give em a try, they were like $30 and i think they are pretty darn bright, makes it much easier to see through the tinted windows on my cap, and also an effective deterent for tailgaters and folks that ride behind you with their high beams on, drilled holes in the bumper and mounted them high so they wouldn't get broken off, also like that they are barely noticable till you turn them on as you can see in the last picture

I am very happy with the way mine work. Just drilled 2 holes in the bottom of the bumper and put the bolts through.... a lot like everyone elses, but why not....
