Line-X and New Tonneau

Finally after saving enough and a little help from Christmas money, I got my truck bed line-xed and put on a Agri Cover Access Vanish Cover. The cover itself only sits above the bed rails a 1/2 of an inch. Installation was a breeze, works great, and does not flop at all, even at speeds of 80+ lol.

Onward to pics.

Thanks fellas. Hopefully I'll be getting a poplock soon for the tailgate to keep my crap secure.

Has anybody had any experience with the manual poplock not the electric one?

I've been reading up on it myself, and there is a good thread on the other site with some good info on the manual pop lock, most everybody likes it. I actually tried to link it, but this ranger forum apparently blocks linking the other ranger forum (it sounds like EFF ARE EFF), real mature lol. Do a search for "tailgate lock" over there and you'll find it though :).

I just got an extang tonneau myself, coincidentally I also did the Line-X :). I'm likely going to go with a pop lock and one of the metal tailgate handles to replace the flaky plastic one, should be a decent setup. I guess they made 2 different sized tailgate handles though, so I've got to figure out which one I need.

Looks great! I like the way the Line-X is sprayed further down the gate than usual.

Alright sounds legit. Where did you find the metal tailgate handle? My plastic one is already broken from regular use and I don't have a lock of any kind on it. The stock ones are junk lol.

What extang did you get? Yeah the line-x junk is the way to go, it looks slick and is extremely durable.

Thanks! Yeah I had them do that to cover up some scratches the ARE fiberglass top had put on the bed after I took it off. The ARE was nice b/c it was lockable, but it was ridiculously heavy and you could never use your bed the way it was intended for loads taller than the bed rails, which is pretty much everything lol.

I'm still looking, and I need to go measure my own tailgate handle to see if I have the "larger" handle on my 2011. Apparently there is one which is 6" wide, and one that is slightly smaller. I've only done a little searching, but I've found metal replacement handles on ebay so far, and I believe LMC truck parts sells them as well in both plastic and metal.

As for the tonneau I got the extang trifecta signature series, and I haven't even installed it yet, but it looks really nice in the box :).

Ok, I'll take a look into LMC. I have bought some stuff off of them, and their products are good.

Yeah I was torn between a tri-folding or the one I bought. Put that cover on man and put up some pics!
