Thanks for the comments on the truck. We had a great time. There is another spot i didn't get any pics of which was just up and down about a dozen steep rolling hills. The pictures from this area:
show how tight that part of the trail was. keeping up momentum in a trail a couple inches wider than your truck with really shifty sand and quick switchbacks was a blast.

Thanks! I love it. It took out a few bushes that got in the way today lol. Friend in the blue Cherokee was cracking up every time I ate a bush. They were about as high as the side mirrors, then just get demolished and pop out all crazy . Cleared the skinny trail a little for the other Cherokees

Do you have a rear sway bar?
They are pretty rare, my 98 had a rear bar but it was small and didn't make much difference anyway.
The front is what makes the difference. You'll see a difference immediately, the front will even flex (a little) on a curb, and the ride will much significantly smoother off road.
On mine it just took a 15mm and 16mm wrench, pull the nut off of one endlink, slide the long bolt out, and pull the center section out. Drive and enjoy!

I always had a canopy, a home made "carpet kit" and platform, tools, etc in the back of my ranger, and removing the rear sway bar had no noticeable effect on handling. This was also with a 3" body lift and shackles. It was just extra weight honestly.
Disconnecting the front made the body roll quite a bit more, but again with much improved ride.
You can also just remove one end link in the rear, I did that too.
You are going to be shocked how much smoother it moves over the rocks with them both disconnected! It floats over stuff instead of beating you to death.
