Short box/reg box = 6' in Canada. Old terminolgy when 6' and 8' were the basic options.

The distance between the wheel well and the front of the bed is the same as the distance between the wheel well and the back. Therefore, short box. Long bed trucks had more distance in front of the wheel well than behind. You sir are on crack. But, who cares.
