Mustang Headlight resto

I know they have those headlight resto kits that you can buy, but I really didn't want to spend 30$ on a kit that wasn't going to get the results I want. I read over on Corral a how to that I figured I would try, it was fairly cheap too.

Basically using S.O.S pads, 1500 grit sandpaper and some Meguire's Plastic polish.
I skipped the sos pad part and went straight to using the 1500 grit sandpaper, sanded
down the lights, corner's and turn signal lights. Then wiped em down and buffed the lights out. They turned out pretty darn good. Here's the pics:

What I started with:

I think it looks alot better considering I only spent 3 hours doing it.
For those of you with scewed up lights on your ranger, this obviously would work really good on them too!

Make sure to keep wax on them or they'll oxidize even faster. Looks good though
