some better paint maybe help a little? or a few bumper stickers atleast to cover it?

lol not my style but hell atleast u can go wheeling without beeing scared of loosing grip in a hill and rolling backwards and hitting a tree! :P i wanna see when u make some sliders! please XD

im down with "function over looks" also. congrats u got to learn somehow.. ext bumper gonna come up much nicer

You're now comparing apples and oranges. Most people don't compare bumpers by seeing who can take the biggest beaing, cuz most people don't use their rear bumpers to make beatings on other people.

It's big. It's scary. It's ugly. lol.


IMO....I would've made it not as wide, and sucked it into the bedsides and the tailgate....would've looked really clean that way.

Anyway....good job for a first try. You've gotten farther than I have, so I give you praise.

man some of these people are harsh.. looks great man i'd put it on my truck if i had a beefy front bumper to go with it

3/4" Plate for the brackets?! You want the brackets to bend before the frame does man. The bumper is only as strong as what it is mounted to. As far as how it looks... it doesn't really matter to me. I prefer round, but everyone hates on my bumper too.

Thats what I would do. Just my opinion though. 1/4 is plenty strong. I am far from nice to my bumper and it has held up well.

Not too bad, Although I think its a bit big.
You could cut it in half and have two bumpers!
