Are my eye's playing tricks on me or is that a manual t-case shifter beside the cup holders in the floor board?

yeah the 5.4 would have been nice, but the FX4 was out of my price range, and I wasn't into all the chrome on the XLT. I like the all black look of the truck, the FX4 was the only other option but like I said out of my price range. I never drove a f150 with a 5.4, so I don't know what I'm missing. Its better that way. I'll be leveling it soon and taking off the step bars.

4.6L for fuel economy, manual t-case... I'd say thats a fair tradeoff... still a newer F150 though. Don't care much for anything made after 97

nice lookin truck man! i thought STX were all manual T-case? at least thats what a salesman told me. and thats the only thing i dont like about the STX is the 4.6, if it had a 5.4 id be sold. cuz i hate the chrome XLT packaget, like the manual t-case, and i dont like all the amenities that the lariat and FX4 and all them others have. and i did some searching and built my own 09 f150 on fords site. come to find out between XLT and FX4, FX4 is actuall CHEAPER in the long run... alot of the stuff on the FX4 are options on the XLT and it costs more when adding it to the XLT. i wish the 5.4 was an option for STX, maybe it will be in the future since they ended up makin power an option

Its the 2v, The 3v would have been a hell alot better. There isn't that much of a difference between the 5.4 and the 3v 4.6, the 3v has almost as much power and torque. The 2v is fine for my needs, and I never drove a f150 with the other engines so I can't complain about my 4.6. Electric shift on the fly is an option on the STX, if you go to the ford website and build a STX, you will see it as an option, its almost on the last build page, next to privacy glass and tow package. So salesmen might be wrong.

Amazing! I want it! I didn't even know you could get a Manual T-Case in an '09. I knew you could with the 6Cyl '08 body style but didn't know about this one.

Nice looking truck!
