In my opinon the old truck looks "smooth" as in every thing fit well and flowed smoothly. The new truck seems dissoriented. The rear lights, the grill, etc... just dont do it for me, they seem out of place.

It has a ton of potential just needs some things worked out.

Agreed some things have to change, Im considering a light night shade on the Tails. And the Winter Crome Grill comes off this summer. WAAG bar goes on soon as it comes in with my 2, 6" Off Road HID Lights. That one signal in the front that looks orange is clear now, both are LED's.
Its Auto, with a 4x4 switch, no stick.

How would you get this dent out, Its supper annoying and I didnt make it !

Beat the dent out with a 2x4 and a hammer or something from the backside, it should pop.
Looks like you will have to paint it any ways. So, Fill and sand the popped dent with bondo to perfect it.
For paint, you could just tape it off at that seam below the tail light. then tape it off at the roundover. buy some black gloss lacquer spray and paint just that little section you tape off a few times. then remove tape
To get a high gloss and even-looking paint job. you need to sand with progressively finer grit wet sand paper. say 800, 1000 , 2000 grit ... then buff with a finishing compound (Fine grit paste) then clear coat. Youll never know it was there..
Black is an easy color to fix imo.
