thanks guys. i went over to that other thread and threw in my 2 cents on those headlights. all my other pictures got erased with the site crash, so here are a few higher quality ones. once the snow melts, i'll have better quality updated ones lol

thanks man. i sprayed them with three or four coats first, waited 2 months or so and then sprayed them again

 

The overall dark look of the truck is a good one.

I am not a fan of shaded taillights or headlights; I like to have all of the light possible in front and have the tails as bright as possible just in case someone has to see them. lol

 

Nothing on his front end is shaded, he just has headlights with black housings.

For the rear, it doesn't look like he did them dark enough to noticeably decrease the light output. Notice you can still see the color of them, even in the picture without the sunlight hitting them.

 

ya, i used to have covers over my headlights, but they went when i got the halo's. and the tail lights are still pretty bright. if you look in the side mirror at night while stopped, you can still see the red glow on the road

 

The amber light in side/under the projector lamp, is that a directional or just a running light ?

Did you buy the units or build them ?

 

i bought these. the amber light underneath the projector is a signal light. the one directly beside the projector is a running light, and below that is an amber reflector

 

So the amber light just under the projector is a separate light you added or did it come with the assembly ?
They look good.

 

The one under the projector is stock on those, and it takes the place of the inside one in the factory housing.
