New Camera and Waxed Truck

I got a Nikon Coolpix D630 for Christmas and took these pics with it. It was time to clean my truck today because somehow i got crazy overspray on the drivers side of it. I started out by removing the flares, washing it, DX330 (wax&grease remover) the whole truck, clay bar, swirl-x, and then Meguiars #21 synthetic sealant. I cant wait to see how it looks in the daylight tomorrow! My amazing girlfriend came over because she wanted to help, shes awesome with the clay bar and wiping all the compounds and wax off. On to the pics...

lol i wash it about 3-4 times a week...i hate salt on it and im sure it hates it too....this is the first time ive tried the DX330 before waxing and it seemed to help alot. a guy at work told me "if your paint looks hazy or bad, you need to remove the old wax completely before applying more wax" which makes sense so i thought id give it a try. after you wipe it all off you have to wait about 20 mins for it to all evaporate and dry or there is a greasy residue on the paint. it was about 70-75 degrees in the garage when i did this

it is very nice to have her help me

your flares should have a 5.5mm bolt at the bottom of the front flares and towards the back of the rear flares, and the christmas tree clips on the wheel lip, 4 in the front and 5 in the rear i beleive then the other clips just pull off. be careful not to break any, if one gets stuck, i use a long skinny screwdriver tp stick in between the flare and the pint and release the two ears of the clips

Looks Awesome Justin! I tried to take my flares off when I gave my truck the works before winter and the first flare I tried to take off I broke the first two snap on things so I stopped lol.

your truck is killer. Taking the flares off to wax the truck = dedication. I would just mask that **** off

Looks good, I got a bottle of #21 for Christmas, Ive never used up til now Ive used #26 more than any other wax. So far I really like it, does a great job and I can tell it does for you too.
