couple new pics from the weekend
just had a holiday weekend and had a chance to go do some wheeling! went out with a cple buddies who just finished their trucks. spent the last couple days putting a long arm kit in the dodge and the cherokee is on tons, 3 linked and 37's (work in progress)
the cherokee broke 11km up the fsr. i guess he didnt tighten his uper link jam nuts and the link fell out on the road. lucky for him it fell out on the frame end. if it fell off the axle first it would have acted like a pole vault once we got the link back in he called it a day and limped the truck home. only real damage was two really bent shafts on the coilovers.
then the rain started so we made our way down to the lake and had a small fire under some tree coverage. seen a few other rangers down there. the "hard" way back to the fsr was a disaster. huge washouts and rocks the whole way up. if it wasnt raining so hard the girlfriend would have gotten out to take some pics. i plan to go back in a few weeks when the weather is nicer and maybe bring a go pro along to get some neat footage.
but onto the pics!
bent coilovers on the cherokee
after he got it home
nice little ranger that we parked by
and this was my first time out with my new tires, and i honestly have nothing bad to say about them. i was so suprised how they worked on all the slippery logs and rocks. climbed a sloppy muddy hill and i had to actually try and make them spin. tons of traction! had lots of mud tires before but these are the best so far. but holly hell do they ever howl on the highway lol

yup. you should come with whenever i go next. maybe 2 weeks or so?
i got a hp d44 for free cuz its got a bent tube, so im gonna 3 link prob next winter and put a new axle in the rear (i think its a 9.5", 6 lug) then ill do some 38's maybe 40's but thats really pushing it for a d44. i dont want any more lift i wanna keep it low and start cutting the fenders. all in due time

Lol shane, this summer youve either gotta come up here and we can have an epic wheeling trip. If you wont come up here ill get my pasport renewed and and ill head down there to do some wheeling. I still gotta see the truck that was my original motivation to start modding!
