LoneStar Round up @ TWS

Went down to TWS today with the family to hang out and check out some cool cars. Plenty of Detroit muscle running around....

Really want one of those parked in my garage.....soon ....very soon :P

Just a couple of pictures....got a whole lot more....just need to edit them. Enjoy!

Those cobra R's were pretty sweet when they came out. Then the next year ford blew its own car outta the water w/ the terminators... Fail! Lol

2000 Cobra R's have NO creature comforts, it ride like a tank, it really doesn't start cooking until your in the upper rpm, once in the higher RPM's it makes you feel like your hair is on fire, which is what it was designed to do. Not to mention that all the raw power is N/A....Brembo's, cooling ducts, oh and a 5.4 :)

2003-2004 Terminator's are a completely different monster. Creature comforts, obviously supercharged 4.6, that loves boost, makes a lot of power, but isn't really setup for the track vs the R.

Me personally, I'm a Terminator fan. I've ridden in a 2000 R and it's very hard to explain how awesome it is. It's ridiculously loud in your face, make your ears bleed. It handles like it's on rails @ speed, and goes wherever you point the car. Terminator on the other hand is refined, has plenty of power on tap, and is more affordable. I don't think Ford blew it out of the water....they had two different venue's they were going for, one to put in the racing spotlight, and one that everyday people (who had money) could park in their driveway.

I ment with the horsepower. The 5.4 didn't make what the 4.6 made even though larger but n/a'd.
