New Mods/Update Pics

I painted my toolbox black and added some 4x4 emblems. I painted the middle connecting pieces on the emblems black also to make the 4x4 stand out. I think the toolbox looks a whole lot better than the old dull faded chrome look. How about yall?

They are hooks like on a boat to tie line to. Bass pro shops should have some or any place with boating accessories. The previous owner put them on and i liked them so i left them on. lol

Tool box looks good, but I'm not crazy about the 4x4 emblem.

Tool box looks great, but i would think twice about doing that. any time you throw stuff in your bed you have to be careful not to scratch the paint off because then it would look like ****. if you can keep it looking like that then more power to ya!

Hopefully i can keep it looking good. I think the emblems look pretty good. It adds a little extra chrome to go with the wheels.

Duplicolor rust tough from advance

For the toolbox
1) sanded and scuffed up good so paint would stick I found steel wool worked great for this.
2) prep and clean good with some prep spray
3) tape off any areas that you do not wish to paint or get paint on
4) 2 coats of primer
5) 3 coats of paint
6) 2 coats of clear coat
7) Let paint cure for a day or so before you put it on the truck or put anything in it.

The emblems look better in person trust me and they go with my chrome on the wheel lips
