new sub is in
if you saw in the audio video section, i was in need of a new sub. i bought a slimmer box, but my old kenwood 12" didn't fit. its almost 7" deep. and the box would only allow for something under 5".
well found another kenwood.. hits just as good, if not better. might be the box too. much better quality then the old box.

built a little shelf for it to sit on temporarily so the amp can sit under it. until i come up with a better idea for the amp. lol

thanks!
at first i was a bit iffy about whether the slim design would hurt its performance, but its true you get what you pay for. it was a pretty pricey subwoofer. and with the good box its in, it hits great!

I just bought this sub.And your right, you really do get what you pay for. good performance, and it hits. I have it in a slim and ported box and sound amazing for its size. Its hooked up to a Sony Xplod 1200w amp...thinking about getting the second one here soon:)
i somehow managed to blow up 2 kenwood amps ... i like em and as far as i know didnt stress em but i guess they dont like me
