Roddy 07-08-2008 06:20 PM

looks like he was smart and bougth a tacoma to replace it!

morris 07-08-2008 06:22 PM

i don't think he's telling the whole truth. there is alot of damage on that truck to be just from a bad spring/alignment.

sullys_ranger 07-08-2008 06:33 PM

wow

Melt 07-08-2008 06:51 PM

despite what poor condition the body appears to be in, i was actually told by a friend of mine who owns a used car lot that i was smart to go with a ranger/bseries over a frontier ... apparently they do have a lot of probs even when not beat to ****

(was only considering rangers / frontiers cause dont like s10s and cant afford a taco)

Wolgun 07-08-2008 06:51 PM

im gonna email him and offer 50 bucks for it, if he takes it im gonna jump the sh!t out of it, and then pull all the good parts (if any) and sell the rest for scrap.

timpat92855 07-08-2008 06:52 PM

yes my rear end is out of line a good bit and i have never had a problem out of anything and its been 20xxx miles now...plus nothing wrong with the frontiers. My girlfriends dad works at tha canton ms plant and drives one 80 miles to work everyday and it has over 400XXX miles on it and only had tires and oil changes, we just put its first timin belt on last month along with a new water pump.

seed60 07-08-2008 06:53 PM

That's good stuff..and it's only about an hour or so away!!

dallas_01gt 07-08-2008 06:53 PM

Wow....can't believe he spent the ~$70 to post that on ebay!

07rangersport 07-08-2008 06:55 PM

Wow.. just wow

RangerExtreme 07-08-2008 07:09 PM

I thought he was implying that the alignment caused the trans not to stay in park, which caused the truck to roll in a very bad way

04blackedge 07-08-2008 09:01 PM

Haha thats where I go to school at!

roll as in a "dude i rolled my truck!" or rolled into taffic type of roll?
either way, he's stuck with a paper weight.

Thats what I was thinking.

He probably just trashed the truck, and put it up for the window sticker price just to make a point that the truck was a POS from the very beginning.

Wow that's pretty screwed up. I love how the car manufacturers boast their warranties then refuse to honor them when something genuine goes wrong and it was their fault.

This reminds me of a story about a guy in London a few years ago who had a lemon hatchback (don't remember the make or model). Anyway the car had been in for repairs something like 13 times in 6 months so in protest he lit it on fire right in the middle of the street.

Trigger01 07-09-2008 08:02 PM

What a piece of poo!

04blackedge 07-09-2008 08:23 PM

I'm gonna go get it and then park my truck on it
