Silver, your truck is an '03? I assume you don't have 4 doors then? Weird. I was thrown off by the rear gear net and lack of huge jack in the middle of the back wall.

once you remove the backs from the base, held on by 4 bolts.
the 2 holding them to the bottom pan and 2 attaching them to the seat slides

the cloth is stretched on by clips under the seat pans and bottom of the backs than heavy duty velcro along the two tone cloth where the center conforms over to the sides

just be careful to hold the velcro on the foam to not tear it out

than took a soft scrub brush with wisk laundry detergent and carefully scrubbed them and rinsed them from the inside out to blast the stuff out and not in

putting them back on takes longer due to the shrinkage but that's a nice side affect. makes them nice and tight again

Well, I was wondering if they could be put in the washing machine, then either in the dryer, or just let them air dry.

no and no lol

there are too many plastic pieces and too much wear the washing machine will do best just wash it by hand
the dryer would make it shrink too much so air drying is the best way

I got that motivated to clean my old car once, but then I decided it was to much work. now if I am working on the interior of the truck and the seats come out, that's when it gets cleaned.
