Ok. Well I'll bring out my video camera on Sunday and take a couple videos. Sound like a plan? I can't wait to hear and see this thing!

i thought mine was going out too about a year ago.

then i decided to buy a kit from NicksterSVT spent about 800, idk what it is now, you will have to email him.

Did it myself (never dropped a tranny in my life) and its been great since, come to find out my line pressure wasn't staying up causing all kinds of irratic behavior. I love my trans now, works great.

what kinda problems were you having?

My trans seems to have a slow shift from first to second.. sometimes its almost like it is slipping and other times it will hold first then slam into second at about 3500

you can test your line pressure by sticking it in 2nd or 1st on the gear selector then driving it in an open parking lot. bring the speed up then let off, if the trans slows you down quick then its not line pressure. if it barely slows you down or acts like its in neutral line pressure is too low.

it may come back to bite me but it really shouldnt matter, as long as you have a good strong running engine you will be fine.

Yeah I know. Another reason I didn't go through with it was because I have heard the the manual tranny is crap and even the 60hp increase from adding the blower could destroy it.

my truck drives nothing like a ranger, most people can drive it under 30-45mph ok, but its a beast above that.

I will have to agree. I drove it at the dunes this year and that was below 30 mph and it was interesting, nothing like any other lifted Ranger I have driven.

How would you go about finding one of these for an OHV engine? I've been looking and all I can find is for SOHC. Do you have to fabricate something yourself?
