ohc installed

so before i put the guys back in, it all looked like this

did different lighting for each
had fun in the parking lot of my work doing circles to calibrate the compass lol

luckily lowes closes at 8 on sundays and it was about 9:45 lol

oh and the lights it came with still worked :)

pretty schweet lol you know some simple green or 409 will ckean that thing right up

yeah the whole interior of the truck needs a good clean. planning on it sometime this week for sure

oh and anyone have any ideas of what to use for the garage door thing? i need the little prongs that poke the buttons...

but really lol.
and i was gonna buy some LED bulbs for it, but when i got everything hooked up the lights in it worked lol
and they're damn bright. so i think im just gonna leave em as is just to keep it practical. without the right LED i can see the output going down. and they dont come on when i open the doors. only when i use the switches on the ohc.

i wired it up so that they don't

my center light is BRIGHT enough lol

its like a 48 LED pad sitting inside the dome light. it works just fine lol

yeah its definitely up towards one of my favorites too. kinda sad considering its stock on exploders lol

it actually was. because the guide from TRS basically didnt relate to my truck at all since i guess wiring changed in 07. thanks to a test light was able to find a few of them and get it all wired up right.

nope lol but im completely satisfied with the finished product!

and i think actually the hardest part was lining up and centering that damn bracket. i was gonna go off the mirror, but thats not even centered lol

Lewkz gud. I didn't use anything for the garage button cuz all it does is push upwards to nothing. what i used that little compartment now is for my sunglasses haha

yeah get a test light if you can, helps a ton. most of the wires aren't the same lol

for instance, the power for the OHC (fused ignition power wire in factory radio harness) isnt what is said in any of the writeups i've seen. i'll need to look again. which it is exactly. but it can be found with a test light by turning the key on and seeing which comes when you do this

the biggest piece i have is probably 4-5" x 4-5" lol

i made a few different cuts when doing it
