Got tired of all the brass looking stuff in the toolbox. So instead of leaving my manifold brass and ugly.. Hit it with 2 coats of adhesion promoter and 2 good coats of flat black paint... IMO, it looks a lot better!

Looks good to me. I have never been a fan of anything brass colored.
