Picked up my new Trail/Mud truck

Well ive stopped any progress on the ranger for a while so i decided to find a trial/mud truck to beat on and have fo a project. I found a deal on a lifted 89 FS Bronco i couldn't pass up. Its got a reconditioned 302, 4" lift and 35's (for now) Needs some body work and love here and there but it will be a fun project.

This is the only pic i have so far but i'll get some up in a build thread when I start body work, bumpers, rear cage etc.

Cool truck. What's the plans for it. Maybe turning it into something like this?

Sweet FSB. Don't run anything higher then 36's on that stock front TTB D44...especially if you're wheeling it hard and often. Take that top off and enjoy it while summer is still here.

yeah its not geting more than 35's till i swap in a 44 or larger SA. I'm hoping next year or when the TTB breaks on me to go beefy 44 or larger axle with 38's or so.

the truck was $600

Yeah, the wheel wells do look cut. Normally there is a little bit of a flare to them.

Sweet rig, dude! I almost had one myself, but it needed some TLC, and they wanted $1800 for it when I looked, but then they told me they sold it for $600! I was pissed!

There is a 92 bronco body on a 78 frame and 78 axles in town that has a 21 inch custom lift, 49in super swampers and a build 460 and 3.73 gears (for now)...its awesome...good rig...lift it and get 49s...looks much better lol...
