my father liked his s10 blazer much better than his fsb as far as wheelin went, damn fsb was too wide for a lot of the trails

yeah thats why i like my ranger. But atleast with this truck if i bang it into a few things i wont care one bit. Most of the trails/mud up around my cabin are wide enough for fullsize, but im going to miss getting into some small four wheeler trails with the ranger

i miss mine too. here are some pics. the rockers were all rotten, the 302 smoked like a pot head, the 35"s were worn bad but they still worked pretty good when i took it out in an open mudpit in an industrial area.

you can tell from the back, the unlevelness of the tailgate how bad it was. there was subframe that was rotten and broke off. i had to cut the taillight wire to get it off.
i'm gonna base my truck off of it when i lift it. kinda an OEM+ lok. clean, with a little bit of madness.

Oh how I'd love to.... but I'm picky on the Bronco. If I ever own one again, it has to be a 93 Eddie Bauer with cloth seats like mine had. Also, has to have a 351 and manual Transfer case and levelling kit, also like what mine had.

If I knew it was going to be parted out then scrapped, I wouldn't have sold it...

... found that out after the title had been signed over and money exchanged.

When I got rid of mine (engine siezed, was my 3rd one), I eventually found out that the guy who had it was going to use it to bomb my local pd. Funny (well in a way, maybe more ironic) is that my dad is a member of the pd for 26 years and he's the one who gave this nut job the truck. Needless to say, that truck was destroyed before it could do any harm to anyone.

Man do I miss my '86.

Actually, I've got pretty much everything on order for it. I have the metal to make the stand, and I'm waiting on Northern Tool to get my Hydro Motor/Pump/Reservoir in. I actually had it in my hands for 10 minutes a week ago, until I realized that the thing was beat to hell. Had the manager look it over and he said they would replace it for sure. Pretty sure they said it would be sometime this week. I'll give them a call today. Might even be running this weekend if I can get motivated.

heres some pics of what my dad had. Bought it off the lot in 1992 in Corning, CA. its a 1990 351 4x4 manual transfer case and hubs. Was originally blue on top and silver on the bottom, but it had the bad ford paint, so my dad got the top repainted silver too.
