Hey Ty, did you black out your grille? Or was it already black when you bought it?

 

Here's mine before & after paint...

 

Ah, so you guys painted them black.

 

I have the chrome surround from 04-05 because I didnt want the h bar grill in there. I then put a billet grill inside that surround, ill take some pictures after class.

kk yeah I didnt like the look of the h bar grills for my 06, so thats why I switched to the 04 05 style grill then took out the mess insert and then put in the billet grill. its on my white 06 extended cab, itll prolly be dark by the time I get out of class but Ill shine a flash light on it or something to give you a some what decent look of it, then take a better pic tomorrow in the day when im doing my bodylift.

 

 

I do like the look of the black on black or black with billet grill. My truck is white which is why I went with the chrome surround instead of PTM, it really just depends on the color of your truck.

 

 

I wish I had one.... great looking trucks everyone.

your truck is screaming for a headlight mod (to me it is)

 

I just used some regular Krylon paint. It's chipped a bit but I did next to no prep work.... lol. It's simple to pull off and throw another coat on if it gets any worse!

 

That's a great looking truck, you just need to lose those amber corners!

I know just too lazy, need new headlights anyway. Both are pressure cracked on the lens from when I hit the deer last year.

 

Not everyone's truck needs a headlight mod
