This is so cool and ironic too ... I was getting ready to start a new thread on showing off your engine bay.
I started a thread like this in the other Ranger site with no replies.
I'm thinking about buying a 2008 doner Ranger with a 4.0 SOHC and I need to know the difference between the wiring harnesses. I was also wondering if there was a cover that goes over the three connectors that plug into the firewall because the 4.0 I'm looking at doesn't. I have the cover on my 3.0 and I could be wrong, but it looks like you there's only one plug to unplug after you remove the 13mm bolt from the 3.0 wiring harness.

The 2008 4.0 SOHC with 57,000 miles
