New Mod: HID headlights/fogs + Snow
Well I haven't taken pictures of my truck or posted any pics in a long time it seems.. Just didn't have any changes being made, nothing new happening, until yesterday.
Both my fog housings were cracked and one light was burnt out, and I ordered new fog housings, and after I did that I started thinking about HID fogs, which made me start thinking about HID headlights.. so here I am.. In person the setup looks a bit brighter when you're behind the wheel, I just don't know how to take night shots well and don't have a tripod.
I also have a set of 305/70/16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs hopefully arriving within days, probably one of the first sets ever made in that size because apparently they only just went into production so Ive been waiting 5 weeks for them so far... too bad I didn't get them before we got about 3ft of snow dumped on us this week... the MTZs still did ok and I had plenty of fun. I'll have another pic post when the duratracs are on.
HID INFO:
Headlights: 6000k Hi/lo telescopic
Fogs: 3000k
On a sidenote... I have no idea if my headlights are properly aimed right now. I don't they they were ever properly changed after my superlift went in, so now I have no idea if they're set too high or too low, have to find a good flat area with a wall some night.
LOWS
LOWS W/ FOGS
HI BEAM

Thanks! Ya I got rid of the fender flares a while ago. Well at least it isn't the other way around. This is probably the biggest dumping of snow we've had this early in the winter in years and years.. and here I am with these new tires that are supposed to be awesome in the snow... and they're just a few days late of making it here on time :(.... I was supposed to be getting them tomorrow but I somehow think the weather has caused a few delays for getting them here.... oh well, winter has only just started so I'll get to use them I'm sure.

I'll have to take a look again either later tonight or tomorrow night. I think thats jsut because I wasn't actually driving the truck straight down the road at that point, I just stopped in in the middle of a donut at the end of the road and it was facing off to the left of the road. So i think it's a mix of the camera angle, how the lighting changed because of the camera settings, and the angle my truck was compared to the road.
As far as I recall the headlights were still aligned the way they should be as far as left being slightly lower than right, and the right being aimed off to the right a bit.
