and those doubles are turnpike only, no backing and only from point of origin to destination. they have to be permitted for the exact route they are taking. i think i35 in kansas allows them and i 44 in oklahoma also allows them. there are probably other states, but i am not familiar.
Thanks for the explanation! I've driven Class 8 Cummins and Detroits, but I've only driven smaller CAT's. :(

Here's a Raptor that I found myself behind in Baton Rouge on Friday (I also saw another Raptor on campus later that night):

And here's a Dupre Freightliner Columbia (Mercedes power) that I passed while going through Mississippi yesterday:

It had no Ford badges at all, just International, so was it specially ordered?

I don't know why you'd want a truck that looks like that anyway

I know it's a Superduty. But I didn't if they were specially made like the "Dodge" tow trucks that have the different grills

ah the dodge trucks you speak of were actually Sterling trucks. Before they used dodge trucks at sterling they used fords. But that is most definitely a jc whitney special lol

Or a fifth wheel hitch. A dually should do what it was meant to do...Most cases they should also be longbed....Shortbed workhorse. give me a break. Headacke rack is a plus for that sort of truck. throw crap in the bed without worrying about busting the back window. Thats what a farm truck/or work truck like that should look like. I love heavy duty bumpers like that on fullsizes though. I also hate when people intentionally put another color gas cap cover on there cars/trucks. or aluminum ones for that matter. The flames are G*y too.
A lot of people who do a lot of hauling will run stacks to keep the "coal" off the cargo. Say people that pull travel trailers and such. But most rednecks just do it just for looks and sound and ruin it for those doing for a purpose.

If they are having that much of an issue with smoke then they need to be talking to their tuner, not redoing the exhaust. Dirty diesel is bad

Understandable. Makes since. I couldn't see me personally doing just for the fact that every part of the bed is a plus for me. I'd also be really worried about putting something close to it and burning it. :-/

with how tall that truck is with a lift, you'd need a ladder to put anything on the ladder rack lol.
