It stands for Manufacturer. That should give you guys enough clues.

Where did you find Police Intercepters at?

 

Where I work at the dealer. we got a whole bunch of them. There coming in the Taurus and Explorer. there was one that had POLICE in big letter down the side of it but i didnt get a picture of it.
there not the Ecoboost motors unfortunately but they do have really cool LED spot lights

 

We wrecked a bunch of them when i first got to Roush.
Some do, some don't have Ecoboost, but some do. I have all the strobes in my tool box from one of them. I wish i could gank some spotlights.

I'm assuming you mean the post mount spotlight? Unity spotlights, same as all the coppers use. Not sure if we have black, but we got chrome. I can look into it for ya tomorrow. but I can get them at cost. I bought some deemed obsolete material though so I got them REAL cheap.

I sold a couple to bob, I dunno if he ever put em on his truck or what.

This is the one I have and the ones I sold to bob, you can see they are actually pretty expensive but I got them at work for a fraction of that.

I saw a couple of those new Interceptors at a local PD in a small town south of here last Friday. A few minutes later, I saw a lot more of them at the Ford dealership that was nearby. That may be how such a small town got them so quick. I haven't seen any in my city yet, but then again, I haven't been by the PD or dealership lately.

 

Great, one more set of headlight I have to remember at night. ;-P

Glad they kept it with Ford. I remember a few years back? That they/police dept were doing the tests for them.

 

Haha. You do that too? I can spot a Crown Vic from a mile away, whether it's day or night. I know those headlights in my rear view at night. I'll be riding with a friend, and lonnngggg before they ever spot him, I'll say: "Slow it down, there's a cop." Haha

Indeed I do sir. I'm sure a lot of us do. ;-) I've randomly had a few people do the whole cop slow down and drive good when I came up on them. That was when I had the stock orange corners and center light. From afar they look similar-ish. :-/ ??

 

yea sac has some interesting vehicles.
