Sunny+Clean=pictures...plus some big windmills

Here are some of the large windmills near my location. They're around 300 feet tall if I remember correctly.

I don't care what anyone says, those giant windmills are sexy, and having your truck in the same pic makes them all the better looking :)

Thanks guys. People always stop and take pictures of them...there's 20 of them, they are just huge up close. I never thought of taking pics until just now.

Are they noisy? People complain like mad about the ones they put up here... but then they complain about everything here, it's almost all there is to do.

I was doing some research, and found a site where you can buy the entire kit to do that to your home for like, $4000.

Where we live, it would be PERFECT since we live in one of the windiest areas in the valley. We have a constant wind speed of about 7 MPH. When it's not windy and you are outside, you are like "WTF?"

You can hear them, but it's not nearly as disturbing as people make it out to be, just wooosh.....wooosh....wooosh. I think these blades are 130 feet, somewhere in that range. We went up to the construction when they were being "erected" and the hole they go in is 40 feet deep.

Lol, that's some funny ****. The blades can turn so they don't catch wind and they have brakes on them.

i was hoping for windmills like the "old dutch potato chip" windmill :(

those aren't windmills, they're wind generators. or wind harvesters.
