One Thread From Me.....I got the wheels on

Last night I was suppose to work some OT and they ended up sending me home after 1.5 hours, so I figured with the time off I mine as well put them on. The tires that are on them now are shot and a lil smaller than what my AT2's are. I will get the AT2's put on here in a week or 2.

Thankfully its summertime so I can pratice cleaning them for when winter comes around. I will also have to go down to my moms house and try and find my Mothers Mini polishing ball.

He wont have to keep them polished, there chrome, they were easy to take care of. One reason I love chrome. theres three finishes for them polished, teflon and chrome. I got chrome for a reason, they were easy to take care of. Trust me I should know.

Rims look good on your truck, dont listen to them. Im in Pa, salt is horrable here in winter, just wax them when you wax your truck. Its the center caps you have to worry about there plastic and as you can see from them, there the only thing that took abuse from winter.

I will have to remember to break out the mini ball when I wax the truck.

The biggest issue I have with chrome - wait till the first bit of salt hits the chrome - it will mottle it, oxidize it, then start rusting in some nasty spots, especially around the concentratiosn of brake dust, and the lug bolts. Polished w/ clearcoat FTW!!
