alright im going to explain for the 100th time...i got the truck back in 2005 it was a rebuilt truck and didnt know the frame was bent till i lowered it because the passenger side sat like 1 1/2 inches higher than the driverside...then i lifted it because of the lean and got the same result so i drove it for a while and tore the truck down for a paint job and noticed the frame rail on the passengerside was bent up along the whole rail like 1 1/2 inches so it made the driverside sit lower so i looked for a new frame and only 2 i found in ga they wanted 1000 and the other 1500 as a rolling chassis i wasnt paying that much so i posted a thread here wanting a 4wd frame and john replied to my ad saying he had a complete rolling chassis with everything including wheels just not motor cab or bed so i called him and he said it would trade for my rear axle and my front axle so i called uhaul for a car dolly and headed to west virginia to get the frame...i installed it with the hopes of sasing it one day because i still have a transfercase under my truck. i was goiung to lift it back up when i frame swapped it but couldnt because funds became tight and i settled for stock. i just sold my cadillac so i now had the money to lift it again.

and for you grammer folks its late and im tired so please excuse this

Looks like I'll be buying a different hitch after I do my BL lol. If you don't tow anything I'd take that thing off.

acutually i just got an idea i leave the mounts on the frame and cut it where the flat pieces are and then get a square hitch and weld it to the existing mounts and it will be right up under the bumper
