I have not been on rf in a little while so I figure it was time to give and update on the ranger and my new toy.... It is an 1985 Bronco II that I picked up for $350, it has no rust on it and the moter was in a decent running shape. As far as my ranger I tweaked my lift a little more and fit some 35-12.50-17s and did a little bit of painting on the fender flares.

haha that's the first thing I noticed in those pics

rangerdan01 01-23-2009 06:55 PM

yea the bii is gonna get painted od green and black when the weather turns warm again and it is also getting a 4'' lift and some 33s, and the ranger is gonna go back to stock so I dont have to throw ball joints at it anymore!!!!!!

seed60 01-23-2009 07:03 PM

Both are looking good!!

Yeah, get rid of those keys. I've heard nothing but bad stuff about those things.

gatorblue92 01-23-2009 07:05 PM

i love that BII

rangerdan01 01-23-2009 07:34 PM

As far as the keys turning sucks because the axles bind up when I get body roll, but if I made some drop down brackets and put my sway bar back on it might not be that bad, but there is no sense in having two vehicles that get bad gas milage.

Thanks for the complaments on the bii I am relly siked on getting it out on the trail and wheeling it, ill post more pics as it gains some progress.

The look like the bushwacker diamond tread pattern.

rangerdan01 02-03-2009 07:56 PM

not relly sure about the bed caps they came with the truck when I bought it, the bronco is sitting on my stock 16'' rims with a 285/75/16 bfg a/t
