Ranger replacement

Well I finally got some pictures of the replacement.

I know some of you are probabley going to going to say
WTF??? Well keep in mind, I could not put my two little girls
in the ranger. Car seats do not fit on the jump seats, nor would
I ever attempt to put them in the jump seats. So I got an
email from a guy who wanted my truck and had what I wanted,
we ended up trading straight across:

The car was actually sold in Canada originally and ended up in San Angelo TX. The guy I got it from works at Late Model Restoration. The car is all original except for a K&N and a flowmaster exhaust. For some reason the previous owner put a GT front valance on, which is cool, I do have the LX front cover too. That's it. It has ac/heat cruise, and the original Ford Tape deck. The interior is absolutely imaculant (sp?) cept for the damn ash tray is fawked up. What fox body isn't.

I just finished installing new shocks all the way around (came with the car) and I put a H-pipe in...sounds awesome. Next up is a short throw, and some go fast goodies....later is a hood, paint....Thanks for lookin guys!

Looks good man. Pick up one of these and it should help in the go fast department. My buddies brother has one running 9PSI and talk about putting you back into the seat.

yeah it is!

I can fit my two girls in the back without a problem, and if I need to
go somewhere else that the car can't...that's why I purchased this:

The ranger was a awesome little truck...but I outgrew it...my family couldn't
ride in it unfortunatley. Yeah is it tight in the mustang sure, but at least they fit. If I have a long trip with the family we take the fiddy. To all the haters SUCK IT!

You can still dip into the 12s naturally aspirated.

My buddy had one, bassani exhaust, MSD, nice aggressive cam, bigger injectors. You know you wanna.

Looks clean! I can see how this would be much better for the family than the ranger!

gotcha...

I really like the car...it's soo fun to drive. I don't have to strategically (sp?) plan passing a vehicle anymore like I did with the ranger. With 35's the truck just didn't have enough get up and go....obviously apples to oranges, but man this thing is quick. Found out that the car has 2.73's in the rear with a trak-lok. You can bet 3.73's are next on the list. Which I think will WAKE this thing up dramatically!

Just gotta get the coil to go with it

3.73's will wake it up big time. You'd be surprised at how many people overlook gears. My buddy put 4.56's in his and was stomping people with built engines with a stock engine. It's amazing what gears alone can do.

I have a MSD Pro-Billet Dist on my 383 stroker. Running it with a Blaster 2 coil and an MSD 6AL-2 step ignition box. Upgrade the wires while you're at it.
