Well After painting my OHC way too thick and not cleaning the connections I had problems with it going out and paint was starting to peal so today I tore it down and re-did it and completely tore it down and found a loose capacitor on the board (I soldered it) I got it back together and finally got it working good and looking much better. It had a High gloss finish before, now its a satin and I like it so much better. WooHoo!

What kind of paint is that, it looks a little weird in the picture. The loose capicator is actually a pretty common problem, mine had the same thing when I got it.

Krylon Fusion... on both pics. just the first one I went way heavy and used a clear coat afterwards. This paint is awesome!

yeah.. it's a bit of a leap of faith to cut into that pristine headliner... but it's really a fairly easy mod to do... I love mine!
