Shall soon get my rear bumper fixed Update 10-27-09
Been working trying to get my rear bumper fixed since the bodylift meet
Finally got it some what better last tuesday. still was not right Well some guy in a 09 honda civic is gonna have to buy me a whole new one
He rear ended a GMC truck then in turn hit me. Bumper is bent and summit rear brackets are gone
I had to go to the hospital and I ended up with torn ligaments in my neck
Medicine was kinda kicking in so the wife took a picture to show me later

From what I was told the civic drive said he was doing 45mph which is the speed limit
No way was he going that. I was at a dead stop as was the GMC and I moved 10 feet forward from where I originally was.
I hit my head on the steering wheel and I came up out of my seat

$1,053.15 total to be fixed
Had to set the guy straight with the insurance company that I was going to go with a place I know and trust.
He said Monday that the bumper brackets could be heated and straightened out and reused. I told him if that happened I would be sending it back to their shop. That prompted me to go to a place I know

Never go with the insurance recommended shop they never fix the car or truck right and they always rip you off. My mom wrecked the truck a few years ago and the insurance said it was i think $3500 worth of damage. I told them off and fixed the truck for $1000. and they wanted to total the truck out so after i fixed it i got to keep it. Now you can't even tell where it was wrecked at except for where the paint is cracking because some one hit the door getting out of their car a few days after I got it fixed.
Good luck with your truck man and sorry to hear that you got in a wreck
