looks good, hmm are there any factory skid plates for the front of our trucks? 2wd?

Yeah it's actually strong comapred to the gas tank and the front skids. I've nailed mine plenty of times and it still holds up well!

I got all three. Of all 3, i would have to say that the front plate is the weakest.

yea there is...but as stated below it is quite weak, be better to fab up your own...

was 36 shipped from parts.com. id say its worth it, did a mock up and will be getting the fuel tank skid next...had some nice scrapes across the frame rails that freaked me out a little

damn 80 bucks for a gas tank skid, that is a good price. but they still want 200 for a front haha ridiculous

yea not going to bother with the front...will be fab up a bumper after my welding class and put a skid on that...

Nice, but it its anything like your HID's in the offroad lights, you may have sold the truck before you ever get to put it on.

Ah, its been 3 years since I did mine. More than likely I'm confusing it with something else... perhaps something that I did 3 hours ago, who knows. I honestly didn't even remember I had one till I just now thought about getting one. lol

Why not just use regular bolts and nuts?
