weird, theres a 97 2.3 4x4 ranger in a local junkyard.

the 2.5 is the same engine as the 2.3 and 2.0, it just has a longer stroke / bigger bore.

Evan, I am going to cut mine, bend it and jog it back so that I can use the cup holders again. You will see it soon enough :)

Hey Zach the truck looks awesome. How did those Nitto's hold up in the sand. Besides that one real hairy looking stuck looks like you were the main man for tugging people out.

Your truck and that White/Silver one are my favorites! Nice pictures guys, wish we had areas over here we could tool around in like that!

Awesome pics guys! Looks like a fun meet!

So, whats the deal with the flags on the front of the trucks? Is that the law there or just the way its done?

Only reason I ask is because at the dunes here (Glamis/Pismo/Dumont) flags are also required but everybody runs them in the rear, don't think I've ever seen one on the front like yall are running...

It is the law there, they have to be mounted on the front of a truck or suv and be atleast 10' or 12' tall I can not remember. Atv's and motorcycles can moubnt them on the back.

Like Chad said, but its in the front so that they hopefully see the flag when you come over the hill. Where if it was in the rear it would be harder to see.

Zach, I'm really curious to see how your making the shifter so that I can do the same! I hate not having any cup holders up front! I also hate that big @$$ hole in my carpet too!

Still having trouble? I will try to get them on photobucket tomorrow. Are you completely downloading them first?

well not need to worry about the motor or you could replace it and go back to an electic.
