casfz1 01-15-2009 12:07 AM

I really couldn't tell you never really looked for a forum for the Liberty. You might want to ask Scott G as his with has one.

right, I'm with him

They are pretty capable. Maybe not on stock tires... but a ranger wont go too far stock off road either.

Tys 4x4 FTW 01-15-2009 01:32 AM

not bad.

guy on my local 4x4 forum has one.
its what a liberty SHOULD look like!

pretty damn capable rig.

the only downside to the stockers is the lack of ground clearance.

not the ifs?

I'm surprised that the dealer didn't have the vehicle detailed before delivery. I remember when I seen my Ranger at the dealership it was very dirty on the outside and the inside was very dusty and sandy. The day I picked it up, it was in showroom condition, inside and out........even under the hood.

Trigger01 01-15-2009 06:46 AM

Looks good to me.

Try tire-shine foam stuff on the fenders. Spray it and rub it in with a sponge.
I say ditch the chrome handle covers, lol.
I saw an old guy the other day driving a dodge truck with just about every chrome stick on accessory, retarded looking. Chrome trim around every side of every door, all the way around the hood, tailgate, chrome handles, chrome mirror cover (just one side), chrome thrid brake light cover, chrome ventshades...

Those are the two sites I'm on.

My wife loves her kj, and I've been really impressed by it since day one.

My mom almost bought one. Only reason she didn't was lack of traction in the snow. It was too light in the rear and never seemed to have traction even in 4wd.

So we got a 4x4 Escape instead.

Funny, cause we did the reverse, I wanted an escape, but didn't like the tiny diff that they called 4wd, and no manual transfer case option.

There is one like that running around the city I live in if I can find it sometime again I will take pictures. It looks funny having an ARB bumper on it kind of like if you hit the brakes to hard it is going to nose dive. LOL

Ill try the foam stuff.. and I like some chrome, not too much, just the front bumper, handles, rims, and mirrors.. NO taillight, 3rd brake light, chrome tape, or any thing that doesnt look atleast factory..
