Sold the 04 and here's the replacement

For the last month or so I have been tossing the idea around about getting a 4x4 with more interior room. The ranger just became to cramped for what I wanted/needed. So I had it up on CL for a while with no luck. Well the local ford dealer had opened a separate pre-owned dealership about 2 years ago near by me. They just recently started buying cars out right sorta like carmax. I went there to see what they would offer and they offered me more then what I expected. So I went ahead and sold it to them monday and came home today with the new ride. I picked it up from an old coworker.

Its a 2001 exploder xlt. Has the 4.0 Sohc with 92k miles on it. It is almost like new inside and out. Drives great. It is actually and part time awd with selectable hi/lo. Only thing I am not the biggest fan of is the cloth seats, but I can easily change those out later if I want. So anyway here's some pictures of it.

Thanks, but no we've had that rider since like 96. I had given it to a buddy, but he moved back into an apartment so its at my house for now. However it's not in the greatest shape its very tired lol.

What about the lowered one? It is what you really want and need, isn't it?

The lowered one is a cheap DD and since I got it I've learned I actually prefer lowered rangers. It works for what I have it for.

Thanks no major plans for this one. Just going to drive/use it as is. Doubt I will lift this one. It started to get old getting in and out of the 04 with my knee. At most I will tint match the front windows. Maybe a little stereo work. Then mostly just maintenance.

I hope your timing chain tensioners don't break. That happened to my friend, same year and engine. I think he had more miles though

Didn't even notice the explorer, the rusty tailpipe on the 98 stood out too much.

Thanks, it wasn't an easy decision as I did love that truck. However it was just time to move on.

No cap went with it. I tried messaging you about it a couple weeks ago and never heard anything back.
