Well, as of a couple weeks ago I sold my truck :(
I had a bunch of fun with her, heck I had her since high school.... but grandma gave me her car and I just can't afford to have 2. Unfortunately, I had to sell her to keep something more pratical....ain't that a b!tch... I hate to think of all the hours I put into her, but at least she got a good new owner. hey thanks guys. yeah I did consider selling the car, but I now she gave it to me so I could have a newer dependable car for finishing college (I commute 40 miles a day....)
she gave me a 2006 PT Cruiser....lol not my first choice, but I guess overall it has proven to be a good car... On the bright side...I did pick up a new toy along the way.... Attachment 102173 Attachment 102174 Attachment 102175 Its a 2008 Polaris Outlaw...Sport quad with a 525 KTM engine, IRS, Fox adj coilovers all around, etc It is a hell of a ride, and it is the fastest production quad made to date....:sgrin: |
Nice 4 wheeler, I got an 06 with the 500, wish I could have found a 525 tho
Hopefully you have better luck with yours, I'm wrenchin on mine about as often as I ride it :sgrin: |
Sucks you had to sell it, but I'm sure there will be another one!
|
shoulda held out for the solid axle intead of the irs. sweet bike tho
|
Sad to see her go. I'll stick to my trx450R :)
|
yes, there is no doubt there will be another ranger! I see me getting a 95 ish later on to do a 5.0 and SAS, but that is a few years off.
thanks Eric, so far she has been flawless! I have heard a lot of complaints about the 500 motor... hey not to late for a motor swap :) other than that I believe the 06 had better coilovers... I actually went with intentions of buying a solid axle version, but after riding both on the trail, I was sold on the IRS!! I honestly cannot feel that much of a difference (...or maybe I got used to it...?) and I will tell you what, after this I would never want to ball through the trails on a solid axle quad...the IRS soaks up soooo much... |
x2 on the IRS
I've ridden a zuki Z400 and yamaha YFZ450 and for the 90% of woods riding I do I'll stick with my IRS, the YFZ eats me up in the sand and thru the woops on the track but I'm on the trail all the time so it doesn't bother me :headbang: |
