Thanks guy, idk why the cobalt one came out grainy likethat, it was shot with the kodak 10mp

04blackedge 06-18-2009 08:23 AM

Its because the Kodak doesn't have good ISO performance so when the light is low it comes out grainy. Just because it has a lot of megapixels doesn't mean its a great camera. The Nikon D40 is only a 6 megapixel camera and the images that can come from that are just flat out amazing.

You have a great eye for photography, with a DSLR you could produce some amazing images, its not cheap though for sure.

Man that camera must of been hella close to the road lol. I'd be scared sh!t less doing that

GrafixGuy 06-18-2009 09:45 AM

he used a car rig, like a PVC pole that hangs out in front of the BMW... by using a slow shutter speed you can kind of remove it, but in the end they have to PS the rest of the rig out of view... otherwise it looks like this:

I'm tempted to try this one day after researching it a while ago. Would take some sweet pictures. You only have the push the car with the slow shutter, so its not going very fast. Still uneasy with your camera hanging out there.

shoot...i love the shots i can make my little olympus stylus 1010 do. megapixels ahve nothing to do with shot quality in regards to iso settings and the like.

looks like i'm getting my dad's d60 he's used a whopping 2 times. lol.
