Some new rubber - 33's
2 Attachment(s)
It's been a while, so I figured I'd post some pics of some recently installed some Firestone Destination A/T's 285/75/16's (Basically 33" tires). Awesome tire, super quiet on road, excellent wet traction, and good off-road too. Biggest I could fit without a lift.

now you just need some shrockworks bumpers/sliders ;) |
need some lift !!!!

Taking a look at it.. it loosk dead sexy, but I can only imagine what it woudl do if youe ven tried going over a speedbump ;) maybe even a simple 1 or 2" bondy lift is in order? get you a little more clearance for it ;)

Looks good, but would look better on a Ranger.

very nice... i went wheeling a few weeks back with a guy who owns one of those... they are pretty capable off-road

Believe it or not, no rubbing from lock to lock. But I did need to do the heat gun mod to remold a half dollar portion of the the wheel well. Haven't tested under full extension/compression, but this is actually a pretty common size for the next gen Xterras. Some may think it looks tight, but I think it's how it should have come from the factory.
I'd lift it, but that would also prevent me from parking in the garage! But plenty of shrock works products are in order, just gotta save and order it! |
