Superlift is on!

Got my superlift installed today, Warren was nice enough to come down and lend a hand and we got the lift banged out fairly fast took about 8 hours total.

Set up right now is superlift front, all new MOOG balljoints and expo leafs in the back with the stock block. gona order up a set of shackles here soon I think to bring the rear end up just a little more.

Only have a few pics now more when it gets back from an alignment in the morning.

Every thing ripped out (warrens favorite part)

Superlift mostly on

back on all 4s

stoked to get everything together it ride so much better with the bars at normal ride height with the superlift!

EDIT: More Pics!!!!!!!!!!!!

just a heads up, give it a few days and that front end will settle for sure..........might be perfectly level in a few days, if your like the rest of us youll crank it all the way up and need them shackles down the road though.......

Looks good man! Even if the front settles some I would go ahead and shackle the rear!

Nice job!

Did you run into any issues at all on the installation?

It was fairly strait forward, the only small issues we had were the lower ball joints took some persuasion to get out ( pickle fork and a 5lb sledge), one of the zerk fittings on my new upper control arm busted so i have to drill and tap that tomorrow, and I have to throw on some alignment cams and take the truck back to the shop monday to get it into spec.

The Tbars took some wrestling but they went in and out fairly easily. Air tools are handy if you have them!

Overall it was what I expected took me about 8 hours total and I had help for the first 5 hours or so. This is also the first time I have done anything this challenging.

Did you upgrade the bolts to Grade 8's or is that the way the kits are coming now?

I bought the kit used and put together new hardware for most of the kit. I'm sure the old grade 5 stuff would have been fine but $20 in new bolts is easy piece of mind.

Didn't realize it was used... still looks good though! I wasn't a fan of the Grade 5 stuff that came with the kit. Mine was new and I still put in Grade 8 stuff. That's the way it should come IMO!

Totally agree, the kit was dirty but I cleaned it up and re painted everything and then replaced all the bolts so its now in great shape. Saved me a heck of a lot of money that's for sure!
