My "new to me" '03 FX4
Got it cleaned all up yesterday, clayed, and waxed with Meguires products.
Since these pics were taken, I removed the step bars and brackets (what a major job! I had to break out the impact wrench to get those loose), sanded them down and did a satin black "Rustoleum" special. They actually turned out pretty good, good enough for now. I'd like to get some better ones in the future anyway.
Looking at some POR-15 products to go underneath and touch up some stuff on the frame and suspension areas (see my post in cleaning/detailing) but overall the truck looks pretty good. It's an '03 with 57K miles. Has brand new Firestone Destination tires too. Enjoy.

Thats what I thought too!
I got some krylon fusion satin black in a can and if I get time this week I'll pull out the plastic honeycomb grille, clean, and spray it. I gotta somehow mask off the front tow hooks too. One of them has a rusty spot on it and I don't feel like wrestling with those bolts to get them out.

Got the grille and underneath done, POR 15 is not fun but it looks great, trashed about 4 foam paintbrushes and many sets of the thin blue rubber gloves but all is well. I'll get pics as soon as I can. I'm loving it...rides like a lumber cart, is square, and the A/C is killer...typical Ranger 4x4. After driving our MKX it feels pre-historic but I'm happy as can be...haha
